Association of Water Technologies - SUMC
Energy Cost Reduction Program For Electricity & Natural Gas

Dear AWT Member:

The Association of Water Technologies has entered into an agreement with Seven Utility Management Consultants, Ltd. (SUMC) to provide a National Energy Management and Procurement Strategy for members, our member's clients, our member's business partners, tenants, and owners. This program is voluntary, but is designed to be a direct and significant benefit for all AWT business relationships.

SUMC is available to AWT members and AWT member's customers to formalize an energy procurement and management plan that will leverage usage with the overall volume of the entire group. As an AWT member, you can take advantage of this opportunity for your own company, or you may offer this as a service to your customers, further solidifying your business relationship as a trusted consultant. Your location(s) will be leveraged and negotiated on a national or regional level, where opportunities are available.

The result could be a significant reduction in utility costs.

SUMC is a leading National Energy Management Firm. SUMC has the top qualifications and credentials in the field of Procurement and Energy Management. AWT is confident in our decision to endorse them as an Energy Management Firm for this project on a national scale.

How Does the Program Work?
SUMC will handle all of the complexities associated with negotiating energy contracts between you and the top national Energy Suppliers. This program is designed to require very little of your time. SUMC will use their formal procurement process to have your energy needs (electricity and natural gas) competitively bid upon by the top Energy Suppliers in your market. SUMC will prepare an Executive Savings Summary for each participating member, which compares the various competitive offers. Thereafter, SUMC will proactively manage the contract on an ongoing basis, reviewing it quarterly to ensure an advantageous position in the marketplace.

If your property is located within a regulated state or territory (with no choice program), your rates can still be reviewed for savings. Additionally, your property information will be entered into SUMC's database and you will be proactively contacted when market conditions change to your advantage.

AWT will receive no compensation of any kind for this program and offers it simply in the spirit of ongoing value-added member benefits.

How Much Will The Program Cost Me?
All fees are paid by the supplier that wins the bid. The SUMC fee is paid directly by that supplier, so there are absolutely no fees incurred by you. AWT will receive no remuneration of any kind for this program. However, if you choose to promote this program to your clients or business associates, a management fee paid to you may be an option.

How Do I Enroll?
Please send the completed items listed below directly to SUMC, along with a list of any participating location(s). This process is designed to require very little of your time and effort.

We hope you find this member benefit very useful to you and your customers.
